Vacuum aluminized paper can be divided into two production processes according to its production process: direct evaporation plating (paper surface aluminum plating) and transfer evaporation plating (film surface aluminum plating). The direct method is to directly place the paper in a vacuum aluminizing machine for aluminum plating. The transfer method involves placing the PET film in a vacuum aluminizing machine for aluminum plating, gluing and laminating with the paper, and then peeling off the PET film. The aluminum molecular layer is transferred to the surface of the cardboard through adhesive action. The aluminum coated paper produced by direct evaporation plating method has a loose structure of the aluminum coating and each coating along the fibers on the paper surface, with a rough surface with fine pores and poor smoothness. Its flatness is not yet suitable for packaging printing and aluminum coated paper produced by transfer evaporation plating method. The aluminum coating is transferred and bonded to the paper using PET film, and the aluminum film has good flatness, strong metallic luster, and high smoothness, making it more suitable for packaging printing. Compared to the direct evaporation method, the transfer evaporation method also has the following characteristics: it can fully utilize the flatness of the PET film to make the metal luster of the paper surface brighter; We can produce laser anti-counterfeiting vacuum aluminized cardboard with various patterns.
